Hi everyone,
We are on a roll! We had a terrific October meeting -- with lots of positivity and energy. The Valkyries winning streak has been fun to follow. Thank you Juliana for initiating this fun and inspiring experience. I think our connection with the team and women's sports parallels our own feelings of success, support, and community.
We welcomed Morgan to her first official meeting, and met Tracy who immediately signed up with WPO San Francisco. And, we recognized Barbara with our "gift" of selecting her business challenge as our focus for the meeting. We send her off to WPO Seattle with our very best wishes. We also heard valuable insights from Molly and Katrina about their collaboration in researching "followership". More to come on this as the work unfolds.
We are set for our Holiday Celebration at Culinary Artistas on December 10th. Molly and I got the contract in place, and Joyce and Sarah will now take over to plan the event. It is on your calendars! So excited about what I'm sure will be a very fun and engaging evening.
Planning is also getting underway for our Annual Chapter Retreat, which is typically held in February (in lieu of our chapter meeting). Katrina, Staci, Heather, and Lan have volunteered to plan the event including selecting the date, location, venue, and planning the content, speakers, and fun activities. I've asked Katrina to take the lead of the planning committee which she has graciously agreed to do (others are welcome to join), and I will support the team with logistics. Stay tuned for next steps.
