June Meeting Updates

Meeting Notes:

• One of the highlights of the WPO EEF was Jim Collins' presentation.
• Here is some of what Jim presented.
• The Map - a roadmap for great companies
• An overview of key concepts
• Specific information on the Flywheel
• Turning the Flywheel Monograph
• I'd love to revisit this later in the year when people have had time to think about their successes and what those successes have in common.
• I attached the 6 steps for creating your own flywheel too in case that's helpful.

• Rana has invited us to the PNC box. This event is a happy hour that happens to be at a baseball game :) If you can attend, please email Rana

Retreat:

• I'm organizing a retreat for the Baltimore chapter November 7-10 in Rehoboth
• It would be great to have an in-person get together for all the DMV chapters during part of that time. Think spa time, manicures, group activity.
• If we have enough come from the DC group, this could be our monthly meeting time also (replacing November 19)
• If people want to stay over, we will have room!
• If you're interested send me which of these dates works for you and if you'd want to stay over that evening.
