Hi everyone,
It was great to be back together in Victoria's offices for our October meeting, and to reconnect. We had insightful discussions focused on launching new lines of business, customer segmentation, and setting boundaries for our teams re: addressing hot topics in the workplace. We also looped-back with members who had previously shared business challenges to hear how things have unfolded since our discussions. It's valuable to hear what resonated from our sessions, what was put into action, and what's next.
Membership renewals will be due in December. You will receive invoices from WPO HQ by November 1st and from Molly re: the local assessment. Please respond promptly. We are also actively recruiting new members for the few open spots in our chapter. Thank you to Krista, Christina, Victoria, and Joyce who are actively recruiting. It would be great to start the new year with a full cohort, so now is the time to think about who you'd like to invite to join us.
Upcoming events:
- We have a great group heading to the Bay Area Regional Event on 10/28/25. It's always fun to visit a WPO business and to meet up and network with WPO sisters from other chapters, alumni, and prospects. Please RSVP if you'd like to join us.
- WPO is also co-sponsoring a two-day virtual conference on Scaling your Business on 10/30-31. The content looks fantastic and very relevant. You might consider joining, Molly is attending.
- Our Chapter Holiday Party will be on December 4th starting at 4 pm. Please hold the date. I sent a separate note asking for ideas and help in planning this event. All ideas welcome, I'd like to get this nailed down by the end of October.
- There's momentum building to hold our February Retreat in Palm Springs on February 22-24th. We are brainstorming now about the focus of the retreat - accelerating growth, building sales capability, etc. Still in the early phases so open to ideas. Let me know if you'd like to be involved in planning the retreat as we'll be forming a team to identify speakers/panelists in coming weeks.
