Jan 23rd: NEW Meeting Model Training & Pre-Work

Please join us next Thursday, 12pm - 1:30pm ET for an introduction into the NEW Meeting Model for WPO. Dawn O'Connor will be giving an overview of the new materials over Zoom.

Before the session, we would like to request Chapter Chairs try filling out the Member Update Form (HERE) and the Meeting Presentation Form (HERE). You can download a "How-To" guide for Chapter Chairs HERE.

• Review new materials – Member Share Form & Presentation Guide.
• Appreciate the founding principles of the meeting model – fostering trust, vulnerability, and growth.
• Brainstorming session to gather ideas for naming our model and the tool kit (if time allows).

REMINDER: WPO Application Process

When gaining a new member, Chapter Chairs have a required form that must be submitted before we can process the new member's application and send them an invoice. Please find instructions for this stage in the process below.

We also want to clarify that new members will not appear in the "drop-down" until the application has been reviewed by Head Office. You will receive an email once the form is ready for you to complete.

If you have confirmed a start date with your new member, please fill out the Membership Start Date Form (this is a form you can bookmark for future use!). This form is password protected, so you can enter SelectChapterDate to gain access to the form. Please note that your portal password will not work for this form.

1. Select your new member’s name from the list of qualified potential members (note: it will list all applicants eligible to join the WPO, not just those for your chapter, so make sure you select the correct name!)
2. Enter in the date of their official start with the chapter
3. Select the chapter she is joining

Then, at the bottom, just fill out your first and last name and email address, then click submit! From there, we will continue with next steps to set up her membership.

2025 IRS Mileage Rate

Please be advised that effective January 1, 2025, the IRS standard mileage reimbursement rate will increase to $0.70 per mile. This updated rate applies to all business miles driven beginning on this date.
