Seeking recommendations for a venue in Florida to host a Board Retreat. We are a small group of 5-6 Board Members, plus partners, so 10-12 total. I'm looking for a place to enjoy the warmth and sunshine of Florida as most live in the Northeast, have 2 to 3 days of workshops/meetings, and have enough activities nearby to keep the partners entertained while we meet. Suggestions for group activities and restaurants nearby are also welcome!
Further, I'm taking suggestions for speakers or consultants to lead strategic workshops and the like to fill the two to three days of workshops.
Currently, I'm considering the Orlando area (convenience and lots of meeting places), Key West, or the West Coast of Florida (Ft. Myers, Sarasota, etc.), but all warm locations can be considered!
