I'm the President and CEO of a commercial furniture service, moving, and product company based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
As a WPO member and proud Ambassador, I'm eager to connect with fellow professionals in the commercial furniture services and/or office services industry - think B2B, corporate relocations, project/move management, on-site facility services and support, furniture procurement/installations, warehouse distribution and storage, contract furniture partnerships, and so much more.
I'm quite siloed in my geographical area, in a very male-dominated industry, with competitors that don't operate in great compliance and I'm interested in exchanging insights and best practices on a range of topics with other WPO members who are managing the same in our industry.
The topics I have at the top of my mind include organizational structure/role changes for efficiency with a small but mighty team, innovative sales approaches or dividing project management and on-site team responsibilities, strategies for meeting the diverse working crew at their level plus being okay with that, etc., and many more areas I think we could all benefit from in a shared environment.
