Strategic Planning Session for 2024 for St John’s NL I WPO Chapter
A Chapter Strategic Planning session was facilitated with the chapter members. The following is a summary of the discussions and decisions by the members for 2024.

Chapter Governance Practices outlined in the Chapter Charter document
Chapter meetings will be the second Thursday of each month 9:00am to 1:00pm. Meetings will rotate between the following member offices:
Dorothy
Ruth
Gina
Laurie will order a light lunch
Members do not want to discuss living our chapter values in meetings
Chapter Speakers
Members have decided that the goal is to invite a speaker twice during the year and at retreat.
Suggestions:
Jess Chapman in Change Management for HR for an hour- perhaps in May or June

Chapter Retreat
A chapter retreat is planned for November 14 and 15, 2024. Options identifies for location are:
Mallard Cottage
Fishers Loft
Twillingate Anchor House
TBD over the early months of 2024.
Possible retreat topics are TBD over next few months.
A retreat committee will be formed of two members and Laurie.
Plans for Harvard Program
The Harvard modules will be not be discussed in chapter meeting. Any interesting resources read by any member will be shared in meeting chapter business discussions.
Ruth has offered her IT team to set up a teams group platform for our chapter
