When we hire into senior leadership, we have a rather unconventional ways by asking out of the box questions, such as ..... if you had to be one piece of furniture in your home, what would you be and why?

This is profound information. I thought about this and it encapsulates that the senior in the company should contribute to these questions maybe, based on the business values. The standard HR approach of set practise does not do it for entrepreneurial businesses where values and people contribute more to success than set, rigid approaches or systems.
