Follow-up from April 24 Meeting

Hi all,

Our April meeting focused on Labor Utilization, and the ways different businesses measure and drive this measure of productivity. While this has long been a focus in the legal profession, other professional services firms are increasingly focused on the balance of client vs admin work in their businesses, and also using these metrics to drive compensation and a client-centered culture. Our session focused on sharing the different approaches being used across the businesses in our chapter today.

Looking ahead to May, Juliana shared an overview of the event she is hosting on May 9th focused on "Conversations with Women in Leadership" featuring Fiona Ma and Malia Cohen. While not pitching this as a "regional event", we have opened this session to other interested WPO members in the Bay Area, as space permits. Bay Area WPO members have received an email about this from their Chapter Chairs, and they can respond directly. The focus is on a smaller, more interactive discussion with our special guests, so we are not planning additional publicity or email blasts.

There are several action items we need from you ASAP:

1. Please respond to the invite you received from Juliana which contains an Eventbrite link. We want to be sure we have an accurate number from our chapter.

2. If you would like to bring a guest, please send your prioritized request to Juliana. We will respond to your request and make spots available as space permits.

3. Let us know what questions you'd suggest for our panelists. Please send this in advance to Juliana, Tanis (our moderator), and me.

Thank you, and feel free to reach out with any questions.

Best,

Teri
