On behalf of the chapter, I ordered flowers to be delivered to Roslyn's office on Thursday before the dedication to rename the administration building in her honor. The dedication was Friday, March 22.
I purposefully ordered the flowers from a small, florist owned by a woman of color. The name of the florist is Carolyn's and it is located on Millwood Avenue.
Carolyn promised to make it something really special. Because the colors of the college are purple and gold, we chose purple and gold ribbon for the arrangement.
